giveaway: something new wedding fair

Just got home from a long night at work and a really happy breakfast date here with some of my lovely coworkers. (It's becoming quite the tradition.) On my drive home, the thermometer in my car was reading -2 degrees Farenheit; I don't even want to know how that translates with windchill. Needless to say, crawling into my cozy bed with a warm laptop has never felt better. For those of you local folks, I'm really excited to be able to share a pair of free tickets to the Something New Wedding Fair this Saturday at the Campus Club in Minneapolis. Whether you are a bride-to-be, know someone who might be, or just have weddings on your brain, you should most definitely pop on over. The event is hosted by the Minneapolis Independent Wedding Association and has a top-notch, not too overwhelming lineup of some of the most creative and honest wedding vendors around. For instance, remember Amy Armato, the talented stationer from a Meet the Maker in December? She'll be there. Jeff and I will also be checking it out!

To enter the giveaway, simply leave a comment below if you'd like to attend! Please be sure to include an email address where I can reach you.

A winner will be chosen and announced on Friday 2/4!

To double up your chances of scoring tickets, leave a comment here as well!

Now off to dreamland...

Aww, I have a friend that is getting married in March/April. Too bad I live in OH. :( Hope you have a great time sweetie! btw: I woke up to 50 degree weather, went to a mommies group with my boys at 10am freezing - left at noon to find it 30 degrees, 40 + mph winds, and snowing!!! LOL.

Fun! My friend and I are starting a diy wedding service and have a few weddings this summer we are planning - this would be great to get ideas and make some connections. Thanks for the great giveaway!

The "wedding" will include 15 minutes of cocktails, a mock ceremony, cake, and dance instruction. This brief wedding demonstration offers a sample of the vendors’ work, including their services and creative style.
