ooey gooey goodness

This week has been kind to me. I had a great trip the thrift store the other day. It was 25% off everything, customer appreciation day and the place was dripping with some great finds. Needless to say, the milk glass stash is multiplying. Also, the definition of ooey gooey goodness just popped out of my oven. I'd been craving something quick and easy to bake, something slightly outside the box of my classic chocolate chip cookies. So I just googled best bar recipes, and this version of those old-fashioned oatmeal fudge bars was one of the leading contenders. They are fabulous. I'll give you fair warning that this recipe makes a huge batch that will go directly from lips to hips. Highly recommend...Don't forget to comment & win our free photo shoot!

Those oatmeal fudge bars look glorious...I'll have to try them soon. I find that desserts made with oatmeal somehow have less of a guilt factor for me...oatmeal is healthy no matter what it's combined with, right?

Your milk glass collection is to die for! And I would totally make those bars this minute, but I still have half a pan of rhubarb dream bars in the fridge, and while I'm eating those the rest of the world ceases to exist....
