I simply can't get this vintage picnic (1st anniversary) photo shoot outta my head. Designer Jen of Green Wedding Shoes teamed up with amazing photographer Caroline Tran to stylize+capture the most darling love story ever. I can't put my finger on exactly what makes these pictures so alive and gorgeous to me, but it might have something to do with a breathtaking outdoor location, fresh flower bouquets, antique cameras, Izze sodas, and trendy outfits. I double love that anniversary photo shoots are becoming more popular. (I don't know about you, but our engagement pics turned out pretty stale and standard after spending 30 minutes blinded in someone's studio.) I love that these pics really implement personal, meaningful symbols that define them as a couple. {Go see more for yourself.}
Right now I'm feeling so inspired that my head might explode. I have dreams bursting at the seams of bringing more styling + props to J's photo shoots. Bike rides, drive-in theaters, laundromats, old school rooms, antique cars, and outdated playground equipment...

and I too keep wanting to do more of that with my kids.. the time is passing much too quickly.
so pretty :)
We are thinking of ideas for our engagement photo shoot in April. Our photography is Pobke photography and her images are similiar light and bright like these. Still trying to find something that just says "us".
Also did you check out Jinky art and her props too - SO amazing!!
Oh, so very much in love with this! Sooo swoonworthy! :) I can absolutely see you setting up gorg little vignettes like this for Jeff's biz! :)
I stumbled on your blog (who can ever remember how?) I love your photography and your creative tips!
Keep up the great work!
It really is gorgeous and so personal. Don't you just love those times when your head nearly explodes with creativity though? I know I do!
