feast for the eyes

Finally got my hands on a copy of this absolutely beautiful cookbook. Believe it or not, I found it at Anthropologie for 50% off. Happy day! This book wonderfully attests to the idea that we eat first with our eyes...All of it's recipes are categorized by colors, not courses. The author reminisces about her lifetime of memories and tastes throughout the book. This is quite possibly the most aesthetic {cook}book I've ever opened. I can't even wait to give it a whirl!

If you can judge a book by its cover I think I would love this book!

I saw that book there during the holidays. I really want it. I will have to see if they have any 1/2 off copies left here.

Oh My Gosh! I am SO jealous that you found it for 50% off!! I bought my copy at Anthropologie, too (LOVE that store!), but at full price.

One of my fave recipes is the Sausage Goulash. YUM! Excellent comfort-food meal.

PS found you from Marta Writes in her comment section. Was pulled in by your name...reminded me of one of my fave books: Swell, A Girl's Guide to the Good Life. I'll def. be back to visit. I'm in the bay area, too. Great place to live! :)
