holiday by hand #3

I love, love the dainty look of quilled snowflakes. Believe it or not, the best part about quilling is that it's actually easier than it looks. Find a great snowflake tutorial here. These snowflakes are so versatile: make ornaments, cards, scrapbook embellishments, or decorations for your home.

that is so amazing looking! and it's actually easier than it looks? Thanks to you, I already have a list of all the project I want to work on NEXT Christmas, like a kissing ball, a advent m.tin, and now this prettiest quilled snowflake. If you had your own magazine, I'd be the first to subscribe...

Did you make that one back in the day for mini classes? Just had to ask because I have one too, just don't know what happened to it, probably squished.

And I'd be the second!

I haven't clicked the link, but I'm still guessing it's a bit beyond my mediocre crafting talents (and lack of patience today) :)

Miss you!

Becca, Megan, & other inquiring minds: Thanks for your sweetness, but no, I must admit that the snowflake in the picture is just a borrowed piece of flickr.com loveliness. I have made one very similar in bygone years, but haven't seen it in half of forever. If I have time in the next few weeks, I'm going to try making a few! :)
