tree skirt {of my dreams}

For 4 consecutive Christmases, I have put up a perfectly lovely tree that's forced to remain skirt-less. Why? Because I refuse to buy an ugly tree skirt, I have not had the gumption to make my own tree skirt, and I have yet to find a beautiful tree skirt. Today I think the search has finally ended. I am absolutely smitten by this Scandinavian-style Poinsettia cut-out skirt from Anthropologie. Of course, at $128 it's a big beyond my budget...So I'm praying prayers and crossing fingers that Anthropologie will pull through and save a little leftover love for me with after-Christmas clear outs come December 26th!

ahh, me too, I plan to keep my eye on it as well, come after Christmas mark-down time.

Also adore this one: http://www.wisteria.com/prodinfo.asp?number=W2103

Thanks for all the creative encouragement. Makes me feel like a million bucks.

each year Anthro puts these beauties on sale, I got some stockings last year that look just like this skirt. the hard part is being patient, but next year you'll be all set!

so i don't know what blogger etiquette is- but just for you jess, i went back and put some pics up. you can see the cute piggy with the rub-ons sam lovingly put on, just scroll down a bit, and i put my mom's ornament up today. i have no tree skirt at all, my makeshift extra wedding fabric andrea has (she used it at her wedding) that one looks perfectly elegant!

Oh my gosh...I felt the same way, but I made my own tree skirt this year! I'll post pics soon...I'm not a sewer, so it's a little funky, but way cuter than the other options - with the exception of the adorable Anthropolgie tree skirt you discovered!
