You may or may not have noticed the fresh look around here. (If not, blame google reader. If so, thanks everyone for saying such nice things!) As much as I wish I could wave a magic wand and create a completely custom look, a few simple touch-ups are sufficient for now. It feels kind of like cutting bangs. A small, quick thing that makes a big statement. I'm especially jazzed about my new banner! The lovely Cathie Hong from
Ampersandity custom-created it for this blog. How neat is that!? You can find more of her beautiful work on

Thanks for the heads up. I definitely blame Google Reader for hiding your great redesign from me. I really like the new font in the header. Also, thanks for alerting me to the new Glee episode. I can't believe I missed it. :-)
