Finally, as promised...The little nursery is all set! {Or at least the corner of our apartment we'll call the nursery.} Our rocking chair arrived last week and so far we're super satisfied with the splurge. I am extra excited because the amazing Fairlight is going to custom-sew one of her darling Dream pillows for us to finish off the chair. I sent her some leftover fabric pieces {above} for the job. I cannot wait to see the finished product!! And even more, I just can't wait for all of the snuggling that will be happening here soon...
I especially love how the changing table turned out. You just can't top a Craigslist + spray paint job! I can't tell you how many times I've organized and reorganized everything in the little wicker baskets. I know, I'm just crazy...Our little man had better get here soon! And last but not least, Curious George has been more than happy to test drive all of baby's gear:
So so gorgeous Jess. It looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteI Love the colours you've chosen and how it is all so light and airy! - Don't you adore those windows :)And a Fairlight play pillow will be a perfect addition to the rocker.
Hoping curious George won't have to act as baby for too much longer! All the best of luck girl :)
Everything is just absolutely adorable! And what better way to finish it off with one of Fairlight's AMAZING and adorable little play pillows. I love them! Now all that is missing is that sweet little guy of yours! Hope he gets here soon praying for you the days ahead and that labor goes well! Much love from Kentucky!!!!

Oh wow, it's just so pretty! Exactly what I would have expected from you!
ReplyDeleteIts so cute Jess...I bet that baby boy is just dying to come out and enjoy his adorable room! This Sat right? Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! We had that swing and though Elijah never really got into it, we really liked it and are hoping the next baby likes it better. I love Curious George testing things out - we tested with a dinosaur but it had a big thick tail which didn't make it very realistic - and I was surprised how much heavier the real baby is, especially when I was recovering from pushing him out! :-p
ReplyDeleteYou are so creative!! What a BEAUTIFUL room!! Hope he comes along soon so you both can enjoy it together! :)
ReplyDeleteOhhh my word... it is absolutely perfect! The birds in the frame KILL me they're so cute! And I love how you strapped the monkey in the swing, haha. Adorable.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for your little man to arrive! :)
You make having a baby look like a total blast! :) Congratulations. I enjoy reading your blog so much!
ReplyDeleteMany prayers and blessing to you and your new family of three!
