14

= the number of pots that the young lad and I planted this afternoon. I know next to nothing about gardening, but I figure, a girl has got to get her hands dirty and start somewhere--and God takes care of most of the growing business anyway. We don't have a real yard or a real garden, but we do have a mini deck that's a whole lot prettier thanks to the fabulous 14. With any luck, we'll have a few flowers, green peppers, and basil alive +thriving by the end of the summer. You can't beat the satisfaction found digging in dirt on a warm spring day.

I went to a container gardening class today! And the master gardener made it seem pretty easy (not sure that is true.) But your plants look great, and sometimes it's just fun to get your hands dirty!

You look like you are well on your way to having a green thumb! When all I had was a little patio I always filled it to the brim with flowers too - gave me a little piece of a yard of sorts! I picked up the pregnancy mag at Safeway yesterday just to see your ad! How cool was that! I had no one to share it with except my kids...Eli didn't quite get how neat it was!

I planted my deck garden today as well! I've only got 8ish pots, but that fills up our deck pretty good.

oh wow, all of these photos are beautiful! i have to say though, i don't know a thing about gardening, my husband takes care of it all! and my dad helps when he comes and visits too! i like to say that i take care of the inside of the house while my husband takes care of the outside... oh and renovating our basement haha!
