I was just sorting through some old pics and realized I never shared the gift I made for my nephew's 2nd birthday! I've said it a million times before, but crafting for kids is my absolute favorite. Time for a little tangential trivia: Back when we were teenagers, my big brother (Eli's dad) and I got our big break in the work force at the local pizza joint, and spent a few good summers slaving away there. You can learn a lot about the world when you work for minimum wage. Although it was definitely a character building experience, I think it's safe to say that job got us where we are today...{Not tossing/delivering pizzas for a living!} Anyway, it's my job as an auntie to teach Elijah about our family heritage at the greasy pizza pit... So I crafted him a little felt pizza, complete with removable layers of crust, sauce, cheese, and velcro pepperonis. I tucked it in a custom pizza box along with a crate of sliceable wooden veggies (not shown) and copy of Curious George & the Pizza for educational purposes. Tasty. Sadly, the miles in between prevented us from attending his big 2nd birthday bash. So there's definitely a pizza party on the agenda for our next visit...

Oh so so so sweet. Every detail. I love your creations!
Love it. Educational and not made in some far-off land. Seriously love it.
What a great gift! You are amazing! I just love theme presents! Eli is a lucky boy!
Blessings!
That is fantastic, I love seeing your creativity - it's always so thoughtful!
Greatness! Being an aunt is so much fun! Kelly
That is so awesome!
He looooooves serving us pizza and watching us pretend to eat it! We just brought back my kitchen set from childhood when we came back from Montana, so now he "cooks" the pizza in the oven, puts it in the box, and delivers it to us! :)
You are just the best Auntie, what an amazing gift for your nephew!
Fabulous xx
