There's so much to love about making our new home in Apple Valley. We're convenient to great parks, a huge library, TWO Targets, have easy access to the freeway and all the excitement the Twin Cities have to offer. But for me, one of the sweetest perks is nearness to a great farmers' market. It's so fabulous to bring fresh, locally grown food into your home. Food just doesn't get much better. Just wanted to share a few pics of our excursion last weekend (because I could never get tired of photographing produce), plus this very adorable little chalkboard that my mom gave us as a housewarming gift. I love its rustic charm. Makes me melt with nostalgia for back-to-school. :) It is perfect for writing inspiring quotes, lofty goals, and plain+simple grocery lists. Which brings us back to the farmers' market:At $6 a pop, it was tough to pick just one giant garden-fresh bouquet to bring home. I chose this one:.

I seriously love your blog. L.O.V.E. it - SOOOO, here's an idea for your to do list (since I now control your world - HA!) Open a B&B because I seriously think it'd be the most wonderful and charming place ever, decorated perfectly, with the best food, and the sweetest people!!
Gorgeous photos. I love farmers markets but we don't have any nearby so I haven't been to one in ages. That chalkboard is really cute too!
Absolutely love the flowers - you made an excellent choice!
Love the chalkboard (and quote)! Chalkboarding is in the air! Last weekend, I revamped an old framed mirror into a chalkboard and have been having a blast finding quotes or words to fill it. Nothing quite like a little blank space and a few sticks of chalk :)
The Minneapolis area has such beautiful farmer's markets...you lucky girl. Have you checked out the one down by the Mill City Museum? Gorgeous.
Thanks for visiting my blog and being so supportive with your comment! I really enjoyed yours, as well. I love our Farmer's Market!
